About
Since I graduated with a Bachelor’s in 2005, I’ve often referred to myself as an English Major without a cause. Or should I say, I’m an English Major with many causes. Having worked various jobs in the past few years, one thing has remained perfectly stable: I love to make stuff out of other stuff. Whether I come across a great recipe in one of my culinary magazine subscriptions, find a tempting yarn, or cut up an old pair of wool pants, my goal is always to make something that is more delicious, more luscious, more beautiful than the sum of its parts.
Some stuff you might want to know: My name is Jessica. I currently live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where I’m trying to keep the dreariness at bay by camping out behind a sewing machine. I have a dog named Darby, and my world revolves around her. I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews, and my world revolves around them too.
